We are frequently asked why we use a live operator rather than an automated system. Our answer: we have both! Using the JIVE system, we are able to provide the personalization of a live operator while still tracking call analytics and metrics. Our call routing & management strategy is designed and maintained by Gulf Utility employees, ensuring that our customer service phone response is tailored to the needs of our residential customer.
We've also added Live Chat (during business hours) as a key feature of our new website. With Live Chat, we can instantly respond to your urgent questions and customer service concerns.

Our cloud-based phone system means that we are able to answer calls from any location. In the case of an emergency, all office locations share the same internet phone system, so calls can be handled from an alternate location if an office location loses power or service is otherwise disrupted.
